Care Animal Hospital is a state-of-the-art facility, equipped with ultrasound, digital radiography, digital dental x-ray, omplete in-house laboratory, and endoscope. We are fully equipped to care for dog & cat patients and birds, exotics and wildlife using incubators, nebulizers, oxygen, electrosurgery and specialized instrumentation.
The support staff at CAH includes 4 receptionists, 7 technicians including 3 RVTs, 4 non-RVT (in which are all taking their RVT test this year),and 2 assistants.
Exotics & Wildlife
We are the only practice in our inland valley that cares for exotic pets and works with Project Wildlife in San Diego. We work with rehabilitation groups to care for wildlife after treatment. This care is a commitment CAH makes to the community and to the humane treatment of all animals that encompass veterinary medicine, our education and oath. We see birds of all species from finches to macaw parrots, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, mice, snakes, turtles, tortoises, including 75lb sulcatas, all lizards: bearded dragons, geckos, skinks, monitors, tegus, sugar gliders, hedgehogs and mini pigs.
Wage: Pro-sal, base annual wage starting at $170k-$250k. Production at 20%- 22%.
Paid CE, up to $2000 paid annually
Paid Time Off: 4 weeks per year, depending on schedule

Our ideal candidate would be comfortable in soft-tissue surgery, have dental experience and be willing and open to pursue other avenues of veterinary medicine to add to the practice. We offer a flexible schedule, and we work within the doctor’s availability, with no requirements to come in “after hours.” We are looking for the right person with the personal touch to communicate to our clients and our team members.
Care Animal Hospital’s hospital manager has a BA degree, and is trained in human resources and business administration. We have reception and technician supervisors in place to encourage and direct their staff. We boast a non-corporate environment and are not bound by corporate oversight and confines that often dictate your practice life. At Care Animal Hospital you will practice the way you choose and doctor your patients the way you choose.
We are open Monday – Friday, 8 am to 6 pm. and are closed on weekends. Doctor appointment hours are from 8:55 AM and the last appointment booked at 5:25 PM. We strive to provide our staff with a healthy work/life balance. We booked our appointments every 30 minutes with re-checks and exotics in between. Surgeries and procedures are performed between noon and 3 PM. We have a supportive leadership team to help keep our practice running smoothly and efficiently.
