The Center for Great Apes has an opportunity for a full-time Veterinary Technician to support the Center's mission by providing support for the administration of a preventive health program, medical and surgical case management, diagnostic laboratory and imaging capabilities, medical husbandry/animal training, and overall technical support for veterinary operations. For 30 years, the Center has provided a permanent sanctuary for orangutans and chimpanzees rescued or retired from the entertainment industry, the exotic pet trade, research, or other situations where great apes need rescue and a permanent home.
