Abbott Valley Veterinary Center is seeking an experienced full-time Veterinarian to join the hospital leadership team. The Managing Veterinarian is responsible for providing medical leadership in the hospital, managing associate veterinarians, and assuring regulatory compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine. In partnership with the Hospital Manager, the Managing Veterinarian is also responsible for the financial performance and general operations of the hospital.
Potential Ownership Interest. You may be permitted to purchase an agreed upon ownership interest in the Hospital in the future, subject to your continued employment and good standing with the Hospital. The purchase of the ownership interest shall be in accordance with any terms the Board deems appropriate at such time in the future.
Abbott Valley Veterinary Hospital a well-established (1994) small animal, 5 doctor practice with a reputation for excellence in veterinary care seeks an experienced Associate to join our team. The practice, located in northern RI, draws clients from a wide local and regional community.
We pride ourselves on providing comprehensive and thorough veterinary medicine, surgery and dentistry consistent with the highest standard of care. We have a boarded surgeon and cardiologist that provide services on a weekly basis. We have two excellent regional referral hospitals we rely on for cases requiring extended care and more complex diagnostics.
Our staff is long on tenure and skill! We currently have 3 CVT’s on staff. We have in-house ultrasound capability, blood chemistry analyzers, digital dental radiography and superior anesthesia monitoring capabilities including capnography.
The northern RI community offers access to excellent schools, wonderful hiking trails, regional theater, farmers markets and great restaurants. We are a half hour north of Providence which is a bustling and vibrant urban area filled with cultural opportunities.
