The Animal Clinic of Billings and Animal Surgery Clinic is a small animal veterinary hospital centrally located in Billings Montana. The Animal Clinic of Billings has been caring for companion animals since its founding in 1981 by Ken Brown, DVM.
Dr. Brown continues to work in a full-time capacity and our practice is still 100% owned and operated by him today.

We currently employ three full time DVM's and two part-time DVM's, but our practice continues to grow and we are looking for one or two more full-time or part-time veterinarians to add to our team. Given our established DVM base, schedule flexibility is extremely high for any new DVM joining our team. Our patients consist primarily of dogs and cats and we welcome rabbits, ferrets, and other pocket pets.
In addition to general small animal practice care and procedures, we have 3 DVM's that each offer advanced orthopedic and spinal surgeries. We also provide dental care, advanced imaging with MRI and CT, in-house ultrasound and echocardiograph, two stationary digital radiography units and one portable unit, (Our X-ray room is equipped with a new 2022 AGFA 17x17 Cesium Detector, Musica software, and 4-way float-top table, and we also have a 17x17 Fuji system in our surgery suite for inter-operative X-rays), arthroscopy, endoscopy and a complete in-house laboratory. Additionally, we have a well-established physical rehabilitation clinic providing underwater treadmill, 3 cold lasers units, PRT ultrasound, stem cell and PRP in a complete effort to provide the best care for our patients.

Qualifications/Experience:

Salary: Pro-Sal. Our practice is grossing well over four million per year with just three full-time DVM's right now. 90% of that income is derived from production based DVM services. Our current Average Transaction Fee for all transaction types is $347.00 and we see well over 17,000 patient visits per year.
For a hard-working, experienced DVM, the opportunity to make over $200,000.00 per year is quite easily achievable at our hospital. Not only have all of our full-time associates exceeded an annual production-based salary of $200,000.00 per year in the last three years, they have all accomplish this without having to work nights or weekends in addition to enjoying up to a month of paid vacation per year.
