After practicing in traditional animal hospitals for 22 years, Dr. Vicki Petsche made her dreams come true by opening Loyal Companions in 2016. Dr. Petsche’s mission is to provide comprehensive veterinary health care that is delivered with both excellence and compassion. Our Fear Free approach exceeds the expectations of pets and their people by alleviating anxieties and fears to ensure a calm, pet-centric visit. Loyal Companions has an opportunity for a new graduate or experienced veterinarian to join Dr. Vicki Petsche and Dr. Aly Oriold. For new graduates, Dr. Petsche is able to offer mentorships with her 28 years of experience. We offer flexible schedules to help maintain the all-important work-life balance - including no weekend hospital hours!

Our support team is unmatched! We have a very friendly and compassionate team of 7 certified veterinary technicians and 5 veterinary assistants. Our highly skilled team ensures that the medical records are completed in an organized, professional, and timely fashion in order for the doctors to concentrate on patient care. With their support to promote both compliance and success for your treatment plans, you will be able to go home on time and leave work at work!

Compensation:

• Compensation is a base salary plus quarterly bonuses based on percent of production beyond the base salary
• Base salary ranges from $80,000 - $120,000
• Quarterly bonuses will be calculated by 18% - 21% of production (percent determined by experience)

Candidate Qualifications:

• DVM or equivalent degree; Class of 2023 graduates welcome to apply

• Commitment to continuing education to maintain current & thorough diagnostic and treatment plans
• Prefer an interest or experience in dog and cat behavior / training

We are a one stop shop for all of our pet parents' needs. For 22 years, Dr. Petsche worked in traditional animal hospitals as a veterinarian, but felt as though something was missing.
