Full-Time Associate VeterinarianDoctor wanted to work on the East Coast of Florida. Florida Aid to Animals is a (501-C3) non-profit vet clinic that has a location in Melbourne and one in Palm Bay, FL. We currently have two full-time doctors on staff and want to add another doctor, or two, to meet our increasing patient and client needs.
We offer great working hours with no emergency, on-call, or after-hours. Come work in sunny Florida with our great support staff that enjoys helping the community to meet their pet health needs at affordable prices.
Working Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 8 am to 4 pm, Saturday 9 am to 1 pm (two Saturdays per month) No surgeries on Saturdays
Florida aid to Animals is in Brevard County, just minutes from the beaches, rocket launches, good fishing, many golf courses, an easy drive to Disney, and other great attractions. The local weather is pleasant most all year long.
Florida Aid to Animals specializes in minor medical pet health care, spay/neuter surgeries, dental cleanings, and other minor medical surgeries. Preventive medicine is our passion.
DVM license for Florida, DEA registration, and USDA accreditation (DEA and USDA can be acquired after if hired)
**Previous high-volume spay/neuter surgery experience is preferred, but not required.
We have a CO2 surgical laser at both locations and will pay for training as needed.
