Elite Equine Veterinary Services, Southern Colorado’s premiere equine sports medicine practice, located in Penrose, Colorado is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team. Elite Equine is a growing practice serving clients in four states through mobile services, a clinic, and soon to offer state of the art equine rehabilitation facility. Since 2013, Elite Equine has provided the highest quality lameness and sports medicine in central Colorado. As the practice has grown, it now includes clients in surrounding states including Kansas, Texas, Nebraska, Wyoming, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. We service only performance horses with our patients being primarily western performance horses, including many world champions, and as the practice continues to grow, we now also see a variety of show and english sport horses as well.
We are proud to provide our new state-of-the-art facility as the premier veterinary facility in this region. Our treatment and diagnostic options include digital radiography, ultrasonography, NeedleView arthroscopy, endoscopy, shockwave, therapeutic ultrasound, laser and Powerfloat. We offer our patients a wide array of orthobiologics including IRAP, A2M, RenoVo, Spryng, and Stem Cell. The new facility boasts a covered jog strip, 15 new stalls, in-house reference quality hematology laboratory with same day results; additionally, the newest rehabilitation offerings include the ECB Equine Spa, a cold salt hydrotherapy option, the ECB equine aqua treadmill, and free flow equineciser.
Our location is centrally located, and we travel in all directions to provide services to our clients. In addition to allowing us to provide quality veterinary care to a large population, the central location also allows us to enjoy all Colorado has to offer. Outdoor recreation is at our fingertips with most activities within a short drive from our home base. With our practice schedule, balancing personal and professional life is easily obtainable.
Our associate will initially be provided with a competitive salary, paid vacation, CE, state license fee, liability insurance and moving expense allowance. Additional benefits will be added with increasing length of employment.
