Are you a fierce advocate for your patients and their quality of life?   Are you looking to grow your skillset and work with an amazing team?  We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team at VCA Bridgeport Animal Hospital just outside of Lancaster, PA!

Our experienced and knowledgeable medical team is fully trained on the latest veterinary medicine and procedures, ensuring our patients receive the best veterinary care in the industry.  We provide primary care for a variety of species, from cats and dogs to ferrets and birds for a population of approximately 60,000 people. 

Our charming clinic has:

• In-house laboratory capabilities for selected blood chemistries, urinalysis and sediments, PCV, TP, Fe-leuk, and various ELISA tests run by technicians. We use Antech laboratories for all other diagnostics.
• MyVCA app available to clients to improve education, compliance and communication
• My Scheduler app for doctors to view their schedule from home and communicate with clients via a virtual number
• Opportunity to treat avian and exotic patients under the guidance of Dr. John Hall, VMD
• Three exam rooms, a large treatment area, surgical suite, and laboratory
• All of our x-rays are sent out to a radiologist for an expert opinion
• In house ECG's run and interpreted
• Direct Digital X-ray system
• Digital Dental X-rays
• Isoflurane anesthesia
• We have new surgical monitoring equipment
• Complete pharmacy –large inventory of established pharmaceuticals as well as many of the latest developmentsStock of Hills, Royal Canin, and treats for both dogs and cats
• A fantastic staff with a sense of urgency, compassion, and experience for all situations!
   

Lancaster, PA is full of restaurants, art galleries, outdoor music, county parks as well as Buchanan dog park! We have a minor league baseball team, theaters, Hershey Park, outlet shopping, etc. The Susquehanna River provides the opportunity for hiking and boating! We have easy access to the Lancaster train station, which can take you to Philadelphia or even up to NYC! An easy drive to Philadelphia, Baltimore, or even DC!
