Seeking Associate Veterinarian to join our established small animal practice. This privately owned practice recently celebrated it's 23rd anniversary and continues to grow. Our single location in rural Western NY currently operates with 6 doctors (5 FT/1 PT) with experience levels ranging from recent graduate to over 30 years. We have an excellent support staff (18 LVTs/6 CSRs) and enjoy a sustained friendly work environment with a closeness like family. Our facility has 6 exam rooms, dental suite, and surgery suite operating 8 hours per day. We have in house lab, digital radiology (dental and full body), and ultrasound. We recently added the Smart Flow system to digitalize our consent forms, anesthesia monitoring, and treatment sheets, as well as the Vet2Pet App for our clients. Nearby access to board certified specialists and emergency clinics gives us excellent support. We need one more doctor in our group to optimize our work-life balance and fully utilize our facility and staff potential.
Positive attitude and competency in all general practice areas medical and surgical a must. Must be able to effectively and thoroughly see appointments and perform routine surgeries in our busy practice. Kindness and respect to patients, clients, and staff, and collegial interaction with peers are requisite (must play well with others). Dental skills a plus or can be developed. Encouraged to bring special procedures or interests to the group. We encourage and support our team to grow in knowledge and skills. No emergency or evening hours. Saturdays on rotation. Three day off weekends on rotation to help maintain a healthy work life balance. Additional salary information: Full Time $80,000-100,000+ depending on skill and experience. Eligible for production based compensation above base salary, Paid Time Off, Continuing Education Days and Allowance, Uniform Allowance, Dues, Insurances, 401 K match, Employee Discount, and Health Insurance.
