Veterinarian Associate

Seneca Animal Hospital in Seneca, SC is a widely respected small and exotic animal hospital looking for a full-time or part-time associate to join our expanding practice.  We are looking for someone who is upbeat, enthusiastic, willing to pitch in wherever and is able to remain calm and multi-task in a busy atmosphere to join our team.  We encourage discussing difficult cases with team members.  We value client education and communication.  Our veterinarian team currently consists of 2 full-time and 3 part-time doctors and our recently renovated facility now contains 8 private examination rooms including one dedicated cat friendly room and 2 compassion rooms.  We have a large treatment area with separate dog and cat wards, a dedicated surgery suite and dedicated dental suite with digital dental x-ray.  We also have an isolation room. We have digital x-ray and Ultrasound machine.  Our practice has a comprehensive hospital pharmacy and lab with a dedicated lab technician.  We also have a large support staff including 4 LVTs.  Seneca Animal also has a new expanded boarding facility and groomer on staff.  Our practice maintains state-of-the-art veterinary equipment for the purposes of routine wellness care, routine diagnostic and surgical procedures, urgent and emergency care.  Our clients are looking for someone who:

-Can make and offer complete diagnostic and treatment plans but also able to develop alternative plans when the best in not feasible

-Can easily convert medical lingo into layman’s terms

-Stays abreast of new technology and information

-Is willing to do research for his clients and patients

-Is willing to stay late if necessary to provide the best care

-Is willing to try something new if referral is not an option but yet understand their limitations.
