Part-time or full-time Veterinarian in sunny south Charlotte, NC
SPAY NEUTER CLINIC OF THE CAROLINAS
Ready for a change? We'd love to meet you! Spay Neuter Clinic of the Carolinas is a rapidly growing full service clinic in beautiful Charlotte, North Carolina. We love our worklife, but we love our life outside of work, too--so we don't work weekends or evenings. The practice is open from 7:30-5pm Monday-Friday. Have a life like your non-vet friends and leave work on time (almost) every day! Now, more about the job. We are looking for a part-time or full-time veterinarian. Part-time would ideally be mornings until 1-2 pm Monday-Friday, but we are flexible on that schedule. Full-time is 40 hours per week, either 7:30 or 8am to 4-5pm Monday-Friday. You might have a dental day once a week (or more if you love them!), and appointments the rest of the time. We have a well equipped dental suite with digital dental xray and great dental equipment. Digital xray and in-house lab equipment, too. We have one certified technician, one taking the National Technician Boards in March, and 5 assistants (soon to be 6), although adding another doctor will also add at least one more assistant. Our receptionists are great and very good at booking appointments appropriately. We have worked very hard to not have any "front vs back" issues. What do we see on a daily basis? Puppy and kitten visits, annual visits, ear and skin infections, GI issues, lameness, behavioral issues, internal medicine problems...the same things you are used to. We will see emergencies, but most serious problems will be referred to the local emergency clinics. Charlotte has quite a few specialty practices, and we refer to them often! Oncology, cardiology, internal medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, etc. Are you a new grad? You will get loads of experience seeing what's normal, and what's not, as well as experienced vets to turn to when you need a little help. And what about the practice? We opened in 2011 as just spay/neuter. Slowly we have evolved to spay/neuter and just about everything else. In 2018 we doubled our clinic space-it's filled with windows and the exam rooms are huge! We have grown from one doctor, one technician, and one manager/receptionist to a staff of 19 (4 veterinarians, 7 techs/assistants, 1 manager, 6 receptionists (two part-time), and one kennel assistant). We see about 2/3 private patients and 1/3 rescue animals from local rescue groups. Please give us a look, and then sit down and have a chat with us. You'll like what you see! www.spayneutercarolinas.com or see our adorable patients on Facebook.
