Associate Veterinarian

Bayside Veterinary Care is seeking a Veterinary Associate.  The ideal candidate will be interested in maintaining a healthy work-life balance, have a strong work ethic, have the patience to deliver Fear-Free care, and be enthusiastic about educating co-workers and clients.  At Bayside, we are a cohesive team where well-trained Client Care Coordinators, Assistants, Technicians, and CVTs willingly exchange roles as needed to provide efficient care.  We are fortunate to have a growing client base with compliant owners who welcome our recommendations and partner productively in the care of their pets.  We began as a mobile practice in 2011 and within three years grew large enough to require a hospital space and have continued to expand.  Our reputation is one of professionalism, integrity, and exceptional care.  Our community values our progressive, comprehensive, and compassionate approach to the care of their pets.  With the current increased strain on our emergency room partners, our clients appreciate our personal and consistent communications and willingness to be there for them.  During the pandemic we have taken great measures to keep our staff safe, including: suspending in-hospital visits from non-employees and non-patients, strictly enforcing constant mask-wearing by all staff members, cleaning and sanitizing on a regular basis, and opening an enclosed outdoor exam space.

Our hospital is equipped with a complete in-house laboratory, surgical monitoring equipment including ETCO2 and pulse oximetry, DR digital radiography, digital dental radiography, and ultrasound.  Cornerstone practice software increases our efficiency.  Our commitment to practicing high quality medicine to a dedicated client base allows us to provide competitive compensation to our staff.  This compensation includes medical and dental insurance, CE allowance, generous vacation and personal time policies to ensure personal wellness, professional liability insurance, and open, honest and clear communication.  New graduates are welcome as Bayside is a place for continual learning and growth.  A signing bonus will be provided after the initial 90 day period of employment.
