Equine Veterinarian, Experienced

We have an immediate need for an experienced equine veterinarian to take over most equine and large animal cases. Due to medical problems, the practice owner is no longer physically able to work on large animals. We offer full ambulatory care for many horses in the area including routine exams, vaccinations, dentals, lameness workups, colic treatments, prepurchase exams, field surgeries etc. and we breed 30 to 40 mares each year with fresh cooled or frozen semen. We have excellent equipment including 2 digital ultrasound machines, portable DR radiograph equipment, power dental equipment, and one and 3 meter endoscopes. The small animal hospital is fully computerized and contains a fully equipped laboratory where we can perform CBC, chemistry and fibrinogen and clotting assays. Three fully equipped practice vehicles are available. Our staff has been with us for many years and none could be better. Our veterinarians have over 60 years of combined experience with board certification in Large Animal Internal Medicine and Anesthesia and Analgesia.
