ER Veterinary Associate in Billings, Montana

Best Friends Animal Hospital & Urgent Care Center, an AAHA-accredited emergency and general care hospital in Billings, MT, has a job opening for an on-site overnight emergency Veterinarian.  The overnight position entails a rotating schedule (3.5 nights per week) for emergency cases and hospitalized patient care. 

Our competitive compensation package includes a guaranteed base salary of $100,000 or production (whichever is greater calculated monthly, no negative accrual), a $10,000 new hire signing bonus, CE/licensing/dues annual allowance, generous pet discount, health insurance, 401K option, paid time off, and an upbeat team-oriented working environment. Experience is preferred  but motivated new graduates will be considered.  Applicants must have excellent communication skills, the desire to work collaboratively with other veterinarians, positive attitude, and leadership skills for a team environment.

We have 24 hour staffing, a recently expanded and remodeled 12,000 square foot 10 exam room facility, state-of-the-art equipment (16 slice helical CT, rehabilitation room with underwater treadmill, ultrasound, digital radiology, endoscopy, gas sterilization, in-house Abaxis bloodwork machines (CBC/Chemistry/PT/PTT), EPOC blood gas/electrolyte analyzer, Snyder ICU oxygen/heated cages etc.), and talented technical and reception teams.

We primarily serve the Billings Community where we have an amazing local client base. In addition, we routinely welcome challenging referral cases from Montana, Wyoming, and the Dakotas for advanced imaging or surgical procedures. We enjoy working through challenging cases as a team, with collaboration and input from our talented Veterinarians.
