Hoboken Vets Animal Clinic is a three-veterinarian privately-ownedbrand-new state of the art small animal hospital with all the latest technology located in an idyllic waterfront setting in one of the most vibrant neighborhoods in New Jersey. We are looking for an experienced veterinarian comfortable with soft-tissue surgery, collaboration, and teamwork. There is an opportunity to become our Medical Director. Our community boasts one of the highest pet ownership rates in the tri-state area with few veterinarian practices. Hoboken is a great place for families and professionals. It’s a vibrant, very safe, and affordable area.

-flexible work schedule: 4-day work week,
-curbside service is very popular with both clients and staff,
-two senior techs and 5 assistants who occasionally like to dance when appropriate,
-our advanced equipment includes digital whole body and dental x-ray, in-house lab, Antech and IDEXX, Avimark electronic medical records.
Qualities we are looking for in an associate:
- an experienced veterinarian with strong soft tissue surgery skills; opportunity to be our medical director,
-passionate about veterinary medicine,
-ability to connect with and be compassionate to clients, pets, and staff,
-good time management and decision-making skills,
-team player and flexible,
-a good sense of humor.
Compensation: $100K-160K (depending on experience),
-full medical including vision and dental,
-4% 401K match within 30 days of employment,
-$5K for relocation expenses,
-continuing medical education stipend $2500 and time off,
-association memberships, license fees: DVM and USDA,
-2 weeks’ paid time off, 7 national holidays off.
