Animalia is seeking a dedicated and detail oriented Practice Manager to assist and support our Hospital Administrator. Their primary role is to perform and coordinate a wide range of administrative activities to ensure overall practice operations run smoothly, including excellent patient care, superior customer service, and a supportive environment for team members. These activities include staff hiring and training, record keeping, financial management and reporting, inventory management and control, facility and equipment maintenance, and regulatory compliance. The Practice Manager plays an integral role in executing strategies that allow the practice to reach performance goals and achieve success.

About the Role:
Actively support practice goals set by the Hospital Administrator and practice owner.
Promote a positive culture that reflects practice values, encourages excellent performance, and rewards productivity.
Serve as a champion for continuous improvement by identifying, proposing, and promoting opportunities to implement best practices.
Work closely with the Hospital Administrator to facilitate open lines of communication throughout the practice.
Resolve client and team member concerns promptly with support from Hospital Administrator and/or Medical Director as needed.
Ensure effective and accurate inventory management in collaboration with Hospital Administrator.
Carry out a variety of administrative tasks, including:
Maintaining staff, facility, and business records.
Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable in collaboration with the practice bookkeeping service.
Maintaining documents such as policies, job descriptions, and staff manuals.
Compiling reports and other data on key practice metrics.
Researching products, services, and best practices.
Coordinate critical elements of business operations, including:
Team member hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing performance reviews.
Compliance with OSHA, DEA, FDA, and relevant agencies.
Facility and equipment maintenance.
Troubleshooting practice systems and technology tools.
Perform other related duties, as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in a field such as business, communications, management, or similar preferred
Experience working as a Veterinary Assistant, Veterinary Technician, and/or Client Service Representative; Veterinary Technician licensure is a plus
Minimum 2 years experience working as a Practice Manager or Office Manager in a multi-veterinarian practice
Ability to work odd or extended hours on occasion, as dictated by needs of the practice
Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and squat for extended periods of time
Ability to carry up to 35 lbs up and down stairs unassisted
