YOU: A friendly and outgoing veterinary associate who is looking to provide excellent patient care to a rapidly growing client base. Excellent client communication skills that are practiced with a smile, possessing a willingness to grow, embrace change and technology are all must haves for our ideal candidate. We are looking for someone who possesses natural leadership skills and wants to show them off daily by helping to motivate and encourage the team. We are a busy practice that wants to leverage our team to the max so our associates are doing the things they went to school for. A moderate level of computer skills are required for all positions. Interest in learning new technology is a must. If you enjoy doing something different every day, having regular challenges and new things to learn, then you are who we are looking for! We are happy to consider new graduates looking for mentorship options both as a doctor and as a leader. We have standard medical equipment in our practice (in-house labs, digital radiography, digital dental, Doppler BP, Tonometer, Cardell multi-parameter monitors, simple ultrasound for cystocentesis etc.) and are excited to be building our dental suite. MAJOR JOB SKILLS REQUIRED: Must possess and maintain a Washington State Veterinary license and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United State and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening. You must work well under pressure and have the ability to multi-task, work well with other team members and be professional at all times. You'll need to embrace technology and enjoy working with computers, have a moderate level of comfort/skill with and be willing to learn about new technology. We need someone enthusiastic and eager to learn!

THE AREA: We are located on the Kitsap Peninsula in Washington State. Bounded on one side by the Hood Canal and the other side by the Puget Sound, this part of Western Washington is full of Pacific Northwest beauty. The immediate area offers hiking, biking, sailing, kayaking and many other outdoor opportunities. We have multiple local award winning breweries, and easy beach access. Beautiful views of the water are found all over Kitsap County, along with views of Mt. Baker, Mt. Rainier and the Olympic Mountains. Kitsap County is a great place to live with affordable housing and a variety of school options (both public and private) for those with families. MAJOR JOB BENEFITS: This is a full time position. We are currently open 8am-6pm M-F due to our DVM shortage. We operate a 6 day week and are open Saturdays as well when fully staffed - Availability to work as part of our Saturday rotation at least once a month is a requirement of employment. Our DVMs work a 4/10 work week although we are willing to consider five 8 hour shifts as a schedule as well. You are eligible to participate in the National Veterinary Associates benefits program. You are eligible for coverage under these benefit plans on the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment .
