Opportunities to simply practice medicine on small animals are a dime a dozen. But we’re not looking for a veterinarian who wants a J-O-B. We’re looking for a veterinarian who is or is ready to be mentored to become equal parts brilliant diagnostician, calm-and-steady surgeon, client confidant, and  pet whisperer--especially with dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and pocket pets.

The Clinic and Team

Spring Hill Veterinary Clinic is an independently owned 2.5-doctor small animal hospital in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Working with other experienced veterinarians offers a team approach and mentorship to case management to achieve best patient outcomes. We offer a fun and supportive work environment with an experienced support staff. Our clinic is well established in the community, with a 4.9-star Google rating and a reputation for being honest, caring, compassionate, and doing the right thing. 

Our well-equipped facility features digital radiography, ultrasound, dental x-rays, a full surgical suite, and Cornerstone electronic records 

• Idexx in-house laboratory capabilities for chemistry panels, CBC’s, urinalysis.
• We work with Idexx as our referral laboratory.
• Digital radiography and ultrasound capabilities.
• Dentistry services, including digital dental radiography.
• Complete pharmacy inventory of established pharmaceuticals
• Laser therapy

Position Details

1. Seeking a full-time doctor, but open to discussing a part-time position for the right candidate
2. New graduates or several years of experience
3. Small animal practice only
