NIGHTWATCH® can save a horse’s life by alerting caretakers via text, phone, and email to the early signs of danger/distress, such as colic, being cast, and foaling. This patented IoT-enabled early-warning system monitors real-time data on a horse’s vital signs and behaviors, works across 3G/cellular and WiFi networks, offers GPS tracking, and leverages AI/machine learning to adapt to each horse over time for maximum precision and benefit. The primary role of the Key Account Manager is to sell equine-related products/services to primary and secondary stakeholders throughout FL, the mid-Atlantic, and tri-State area with emphasis on the Sport Horse market (hunters, jumpers, dressage, and event horses). Primary stakeholders (B2B, professionals) include horse trainers, breeding managers, barn/facility owners/managers, and veterinarians. Secondary stakeholders (B2C, consumers) include horse owners and competitors/riders. As a Key Account Manager, you will contact B2B prospects on a daily basis to introduce products/ services, set meetings and drive sales and travel to B2B prospects on a regular basis to demonstrate products/services and close business. In addition, you will set up and manage commercial exhibits at competitions/races and manage all customer and lead interactions.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and be passionate about horses and those who care for them. Must be driven to sell, sell, sell and be a self-motivated problem solver who is resilient and capable of hearing “no”. This role requires extensive travel throughout the US and Canada, often on weekends. Sales experience with a proven track record of success preferred, horse ownership, breeding, riding/show experience is a plus.
