Additional services provided within the practice:
We are seeking a passionate learner to join our team. We can accommodate either Full-Time or Part-time hours. Interest, experience, and skill in surgery and dentistry is a plus, but not required.
Our doctors are well supported by a highly skilled and trained team of Registered Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, and Client Service Representatives. We provide remote access to our practice management software from home to increase flexibility and communication and improve work-life balance.
Part-time veterinarians are generally scheduled 20-25 hours per week in appointments +/- surgery, and Full-time veterinarians are generally scheduled 25-30 hours per week. After hours patient care is referred to one of two emergency and specialty hospitals in town. Continuing education is highly valued and encouraged, as are opportunities to develop new services or professional skills.
Our culture is founded on valuing our patients, clients, and team equally and the leadership team is focused on serving the needs of all three. Our core values are: Be honest; do your best; and treat others with dignity and respect and in a caring manner.
All of our doctors have earned their Fear Free Certification, as will any new Associate, if not already acquired, at the expense of the clinic upon hiring. Use of Fear Free techniques will be utilized for every patient, every visit. Reducing fear, anxiety, and stress is our primary goal and we do that through our team training, items like pheromones, toys, and treats, and our facility design. Both of our clinics have separate waiting areas and exam rooms for dogs and cats, and our newer clinic was built out to look like a park setting, complete with indoor trees and cottage front exam rooms.
