VCA San Carlos Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our AAHA-accredited, 5-doctor, extended-hour small animal practice in San Carlos, California.

The successful candidate will be an experienced veterinarian or confident new grad looking to provide excellent patient care and client service in a fast-paced clinic. We offer an extensive mentoring program for recent graduates.

VCA San Carlos is a welcoming, busy practice that provides high quality, compassionate care with excellent customer service.  Our clients are committed to providing the very best care for their pets and extremely dedicated to the practice itself. Wellness and client education are a big part of our practice; however as a former emergency hospital we see plenty of urgent and emergent cases as well! Swing and weekend shifts should be anticipated, however these extended hours allow to the continuity of care that really builds strong client-hospital bonds.

Our facility is well-equipped and spacious with a recently remodeled front lobby.  To provide excellent care we have full in-house labs (including vetscan CBC, chemistries, i-stat, and a variety of SNAP tests), ultrasound, digital radiography, and oxygen cage.  Digital dental radiographs are offered for every patient undergoing dental prophylaxis, and VCA'™s CareClub provides a cost-effective solution to developing a strong preventative care relationship. Our well-trained and compassionate staff, as well as the VCA management team, are here to support you in providing the very best options for your clients. 

We are located in the charming peninsula city of San Carlos, directly between the thriving Silicon Valley and San Francisco.
