Progressive, 24 hour small animal general and emergency hospital located in northwestern NJ is interested in a well motivated, fun loving associate veterinarian to help further our ideals of veterinary medical excellence for this full time job opening. Our focus is on comprehensive small animal medicine, and as such we employ all available diagnostic modalities such as on-site digital radiography, digital dental XR with high speed dental unit, ultrasonography, blood chemistries, diagnostic ECG, blood pressure, tonometry, snap testing, etc, replete complement of pain management modalities, as well as utilizing outside resources such as our local reference laboratory. Our hospital also contracts with board certified surgeons and internists who provide on site services to promote the highest level of patient care. The serious veterinary applicant must possess excellent diagnostic and surgical skills, but can find themselves a very rewarding position working with a terrific group of dedicated individuals. The full time associate veterinary position we offer is replete with a competitive salary, paid health care and dental benefits, a continuing education stipend of $1500/year plus paid time off, all subscription dues, 2 weeks paid vacation, and 401k with 4.5% match. The hospital is ideally situated near Easton, Pennsylvania, close to excellent restaurants and clubs, 1.5 hours to Philadelphia, NYC, and the NJ beaches, and is a great area for biking, hiking, and raising a family. Lastly, our practice philosophy recognizes the need for veterinary medicine to be mindful of sustainability, and as such our hospital recycles all glass, used office paper, plastic bottles, cardboard boxes, as well utilizing low molecular weight, degradable plastic bags. Any level of experience will be considered for this position as long as the applicant has the desire to provide the highest level of medical and surgical care, the ability to work well with others, and possesses strong communication skills as both client education and discussion with referring veterinarians about their cases is essential. Additional Salary Information: $90,000 base salary plus commission based on 20% gross
