Tired of the corporate rat race? Are you looking for a small animal job in a progressive privately-owned practice, great work-life balance, and a life full of outdoor and cultural activities? Look no further…..
Come join our enthusiastic and growing team in Central New York as a small animal associate veterinarian. We are not associated with any corporation. We have been independent practitioners since graduating from Cornell in 1986. We consider our staff family and treat them as such. With us, you will be a name, not a number. We have several positions open. One is in our newly opened clinic in Marcy, NY. One is in our rural practice in New Berlin, NY and the other in our more suburban practice in Cooperstown, NY. Each of these locations has its attributes but they all share a common love for veterinary medicine and team work. In all our clinics, we offer a base salary and opportunity for commission-based pay with generous time off. Continuing education is encouraged from all team members. We strive for great mentorship and would welcome applications from any experience level. We really want every member of our team to succeed. A positive attitude is a must. New graduates are always welcome.
All our clinics focus on quality progressive medicine-DR digital radiography, digital ultrasound, endoscopy, in house CBC/Chemistry, licensed technicians, Class IV therapy laser, canine rehabilitation program, chiropractic and a paperless record system. Sure, some of our equipment is shared, but how else could a rural practice afford an ultrasound or laser therapy?
We are near numerous outdoor and cultural activities. The Adirondack Mountains are a 30 minute drive. Utica is host to numerous colleges and cultural events. We are 30 minutes east of Syracuse and one hour west of Albany. Cooperstown has the National Baseball Hall of Fame as well as numerous other museums. Otsego and Canadarago Lakes offer watersports.
