Ranch Docs Veterinary Services in sunny southern Alberta is looking for a companion animal or mixed animal veterinarian(s) to join our team of amazing people.
Ranch Docs is located in Lethbridge, Alberta Canada which is a small and vibrant city located only 40 minutes from the U.S. border, 1.5 hours from Calgary and the Calgary International Airport, and 1 hour from the Rocky Mountains. Our building is only 6 years young with impressive equine and bovine handling/holding facilities along with new Sound xray systems, Heska blood analyzer, ultrasound and dental equipment. Our clinic is rapidly growing and is looking for an energetic vet who either enjoys mixed animal practice or who is looking to focus on further developing our thriving small animal department.
Currently, Ranch Docs is open Monday to Friday from 8am-5pm with evening and weekend on-call rotated between vets, making for a healthy work and life balance. We offer a competitive benefit package, CE allowance and provincial and CVMA dues. A competitive salary will coincide with the clinical experience of the candidate. New or recent grads are encouraged to apply. The candidate must be fully eligible to work as a DVM in accordance with current provincial guidelines.

Must be a veterinarian with qualifications and certification to qualify to work as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in the province of Alberta. Must be able to register as a -- Veterinarian and work without supervision. Must be available to work Monday- Friday including some evening and weekends as per the on-call rotation.

Our new building has great equine and bovine handling facilities along with 4 small animal exam rooms, a treatment and wet table area, radiology and lab room all with new up to date equipment. Ranch Docs has a great team of 4 Vets, 6 techs, 5 receptionists, a kennel assistant, a practice manager and a bookkeeper. Our practice while growing quickly keeps an "out of work life" a priority for all our staff.
