FT veterinarian needed for a busy emergency practice in sunny central Oregon. We are looking for an enthusiastic practitioner that wants to be part of a hard working team. We have a flexible schedule that allows employees to pursue all of the outdoor pursuits that Bend, Oregon has to offer including mountain and road biking, trail running, nordic and alpine skiing, backpacking, rock climbing and more.
We are equipped with digital radiology, CT, flouroscopy, ultrasound, oxygen cages, in house lab equipment and more. We are looking for a compassionate, team player with at least 2 years of emergency experience or a completed emergency internship. Strong leadership qualities, a positive attitude and a focus on the human animal bond are requirements for this position. Our staff is well trained and strives to practice the highest quality emergency and critical care medicine possible. Applicants must be comfortable seeing a wide variety of surgical and medical cases, as well as, the occasional pocket pet or bird.
Additional Salary Information: Veterinarians are paid per shift or 25% of production (whichever is greater)
The Animal Emergency Center of Central Oregon is a busy, well equipped, practice with 4 full time and 1 part time veterinarians. We offer health insurance, liability insurance, retirement account, and membership to AVMA, OVMA, VECCS and COVMA as part of our benefit package. We operate Monday through Wednesday 5pm to 8 am and remain open from Thursday at 5pm to Monday morning. The facility is shared with a board certified internist, surgeon, ophthalmologist and dermatologist.
